Seminars
International Seminars have been a part of the seminar
series on participatory irrigation management. INPIM,
the World Bank and the Sponsoring Country have been
the active sponsors for the international seminars.
INPIM has been instrumental in conducting the
International Seminars on Participation Irrigation
Management as a part of its Seminar Series on PIM.
Todate six International Seminars have been conducted
starting from 1994. The initial seminars were oriented
towards creating a general awareness on the role and
importance of PIM. Since the Fourth International
Seminar, specific themes have formed the basis of the
seminars. The details of the seminars conducted to
date are as follows:
