The Newsletter #12 published in October 2002, highlights the proceedings of the sixth international seminar on participatory irrigation managment. The Seminar was consponsored by the Minsitry of Water Resources China, the World Bank, Global INPIM and INPIM Chapter of China, the China Irrigation Districts Association. Support was also provided by the China Irrigation and Drainage Development Centre and the DIFID. The theme of the seminar forcussed on " Instituional options for user participation in irrigation and drainage".
