Pragathi - the Farmers Scociety for Rural Studies and Development, coordinates the activities of the farmers nework in the State of Karnataka and is based in Bangalore. Pragathi has been instrumental in advocating for the formation of farmer federations at the project level. Water user associations at the minor(tertiary level) federate at the Project level.
