Water/Irrigation Institutions Specialist

Development Alternatives, Inc. (DAI) is an international consulting firm that implements projects worldwide in rural and agricultural development, natural resource management, credit and banking, private sector development, institutional development and information systems.

DAI seeks experienced Water/Irrigation Institutions Specialist to lead project in Afghanistan. This is a long-term position (12 months).

Qualifications:

- substantial experience (15+ years) in water irrigation management, with preference for candidates with experience working in some or all of the following:

- with ADB;
- in Afghanistan, Pakistan or Central Asia;
- as a Team Leader/Chief or Party on international development projects;
- in irrigation rehabilitation;
- in capacity building of governmental staff.
