INPIM’s Second International Capacity Building Program held successfully
Participants from 11 countries (Afghanistan, Albania, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Philippines, Uzbekistan, USA, Yemen, Tunisia and Turkey) attended the INPIM’s 2nd International Capacity Building Program (ICBP) during 18-29 June 2006 in
Izmir/ Turkey. The program was organized by INPIM in collaboration with the Turkish State Hydraulic Works (DSI) department and International Agrohydrology Research and Training Center (THAEM), Menemen, near the picturesque city of
Izmir. The participants included policy makers, planners, managers, implementers and practitioners, trainers, farmers and others involved in irrigation management reforms. This 12-day intensive training course involved a mix of lectures and presentations, group discussions and exercises, country experience sharing sessions and field visits.
